I did it and deactivated the check box, but once I restart IE the check box is still activated and I cannot login to Live Messenger again.
How to fix this so the check box stays turned off?
Thanks

At the end of the dialog box in options/advanced there is a button that resets all the settings of explorer. Click it and do a total reset and restart explorer. When you restart WLMessenger it might give you a different error for misidentification of your password. Keep trying a few times and eventually it will sign you in...

In many cases the root cause of this particular issue is actually a few corrupt registry settings. The solution is quite simple - Registry Cleaner. PC-Kitchen's RegistryCleaner will solve this particulare issue.
